Notify me when this product is available:

"Uncommon Valor Was a Common Virtue" is written on one side of this coin reflecting the iconic photo of six United States Marines raising the American flag atop Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima. On the bottom of the coin says "Sand From the Beaches of Iwo Jima" with actual grains of sand from the beaches of Iwo Jima adhered to the coin.

On the reverse side of the coin over red enamel reads "United States Marine Corps" on the top and "Semper Fidelis" on the bottom.

This coin is made out of a heavy, bronze-colored metal and is roughly 2 inches in diameter.
