IWO MARINE CHALLENGE COIN

"Marched Through Fire, Forged Into Steel" is written on the perimeter of one side of the coin reflecting the iconic photo of six United States Marines raising the American flag atop Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima. Above the marines, it says "Honor, Courage, Commitment" and to each side of the marines says "Enter Recruits, Exit Marines." On the bottom perimeter of the coin says "The Crucible."

On the reverse side of the coin over red enamel reads "United States Marine Corps" on the top and "Earned, Never Given" on the bottom. "Semper Fidelis" is written just below the Marine Corps Emblem.

This coin is made out of a heavy, bronze-colored metal and is roughly 2 inches in diameter.
