Happy Nurses Day

I bought this book for my staff to celebrate Nurses Day! What an honor to share this book with them, a first-hand account of the sacrifices and challenges that helped mold our profession. As active-duty uniformed service nurses, we must always remember that although these individuals may not have fought the war with a weapon, they fought with their hearts and souls to ensure that the soldiers and all involved were cared for and loved.

Good book. The author gives more of an autobiography rather than her account of Pearl Harbor for my nurses point of view. The white cat version does give nurses point of view of the attack. Good historical coverage of army nursing.
