      What is a "Flown Flag"?

      Your flown flag is physically flown at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. Each flag is certified by the Superintendent of Pearl Harbor National Memorial. The personalized certificate is included with each flag. You can order flags flown on December 7th, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, or on a specific date in addition to these special holidays.

      Your flag is crafted by Eder Flags in Oak Creek, WI.

      Originally launched as Eder Manufacturing Co. in 1887 by seven brothers from the Eder family, the company focused on making pillows, felt pennants, rag dolls and hunting jackets. From those humble beginnings, the flag-making business was launched and incorporated in 1903.

      Your Flag Is Flown

      Your flag is carefully raised at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial.

      Make no mistake, the significance of raising your flag at the Arizona Memorial is deeply respected. Each and every flag receives the same care and attention.

      Give us at least 7 days and you can select the date you want your flag flown. A great way to memorialize a special day in your (or a loved ones) life.

      Certificate of Presentation

      Your flag includes a personalized Certificate of Flag Presentation signed by the Superintendent of Pearl Harbor National Memorial and the President of Pacific Historic Parks.

      Present this special designation near your display case or framed on the wall.

      Packaged For You

      Your flag is carefully folded and hand packaged before it is shipped to you.

      The Certificate of Flag Presentation, printed with the name of your choice, is included in your shipment.

      Select Nylon or Polymax Material

      Nylon flags are better suited for outdoor display. The nylon flag is thin and soft to the touch and does much better for flags being flown outside. Nylon flags are also generally easier to fold.

      Polymax flags are a thicker, heavier material that is similar to cotton.

      The difference between the two materials are not strongly noticed by most.
