Until World War II came along, fourteen-year-old Helen Marshall's biggest problem had been her height. Few men in Hayden's Valley, Illinois are as tall as Helen. But when Helen's mother is hurt and can't work and her favorite cousin ships off to fight, Helen must find a way to support both her family and her country. Great way to remember and honor this ship and her lost crewmembers. Good quality shirt and very comfortable. The silhouette lithograph emblem is a real eyecatcher and I'm enjoying my purchase very much.

I really appreciate this small but powerful reminder of what women and the United States accomplished during WW II. I will wear it more often to more places than my Rosie shirt.
This is a well written account of the attack on Pearl Harbor and this brave sailor's survival and the fate of his shipmates. Should be required reading for all Americans. Definitely illustrates why that generation is labelled the greatest!!
It was an emotional gift for my parents. They loved it and it meant so much to my Dad who is a Navy veteran. The packaging and certificate was fabulous. It made for very unique memory for them.
