Mitsuo Fuchida was the career aviator who led the attack on Pearl Harbor and participated in most of the fiercest battles of the Pacific war. A valuable record of major events, his life's story is also one of a man swept along by his times. After a scandalous love affair came his remarkable conversion to Christianity and years of touring the world as an evangelist. I really appreciate this small but powerful reminder of what women and the United States accomplished during WW II. I will wear it more often to more places than my Rosie shirt.
This is a well written account of the attack on Pearl Harbor and this brave sailor's survival and the fate of his shipmates. Should be required reading for all Americans. Definitely illustrates why that generation is labelled the greatest!!
It was an emotional gift for my parents. They loved it and it meant so much to my Dad who is a Navy veteran. The packaging and certificate was fabulous. It made for very unique memory for them.
