From his time in a Honolulu street gang to surviving the attack on Pearl Harbor to disarming bombs across Europe, native Hawaiian Herb Weatherwax's life story is full of mischief, adventure and travel. Counting his blessings along the way, Herb recalls what it was like to grow up in Hawaii, the trials and tribulations of his youth, his World War II experience, and his eventual transition to business owner, family man, and community leader and volunteer. Written in his own words, Uncle Herb, as he is affectionately known, reveals his humble heart, sense of humor, and endearing personality.

The quality and fit are great but not the windbreaker I ordered
We bought a windbreaker back in 2016 when we were in Hawaii for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. My husband has worn it so much that it is getting worn out. So I ordered him another one. The feature he liked the best was that the hood is hidden in a pocket at the neckline. Well, we received a windbreaker without that feature! He's very disappointed. After 3 emails to you, we have not heard back how to correct the order.
I send this book to friends who are planning visit to HI. This is a very interesting story of the Infamous day told from the perspective of a young girl whose dad was a Marine stationed on Ford Island. Their house faces the AZ and today bears a sign of her last name.
This women’s shirt runs very small. XL fits more like a small-medium. It is MUCH too small for me. I will donate it to a needy family. Too much trouble to return, as I threw away the slips/tags.
Proud to be a supporter of the PHP cause. Especially when I get the privilege to wear a shirt honoring our boys who have been lost but not forgotten. Please continue to add new and distinctive shirts and I will keep on buying!
