Guadalcanal was to be one of the key battle sites. Fighting on the small island began in August 1942 and lasted for six months. Part of the Graphic Battles of World War II series, features illustrations, glossary, index and biblography.
A high-quality shirt that fits well. It features an embroideeed name and logo and the fabric looks like it will hold its shape and color for a long time.
I read Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes to my fifth graders every year. I can never finish without tears. These little cranes are a reminder that children are the true victims of war. And children are our hope to end these wars.

I recently bought seven Flags that were flown over the Arizona Memorial on December 7th 2025. I purchased these in memory of all the family members that served our country. They were given to the Sons or Daughters that are now holding the memory of their father. This is inspired by one family member who died during the Second World War and is buried in the American Cemetery in Holland.
With the certificate with each name and the American flag it is now a Treasure addition to their mantles. Thank you to all that served our military and our country.
