Mitsuo Fuchida was the career aviator who led the attack on Pearl Harbor and participated in most of the fiercest battles of the Pacific war. A valuable record of major events, his life's story is also one of a man swept along by his times. After a scandalous love affair came his remarkable conversion to Christianity and years of touring the world as an evangelist. This flag was a gift for my husband for Fathers Day from our family. We had it flown on his birthday. He is US Navy, Ret and was very moved by this gift!
We now hope to plan a trip to the Pearl Harbor Memorial Site!
A fantastic interpretation and retelling of the men who left home and family to fight for freedoms still denied them, and who proved their loyalty to a country they loved through valor and sacrifice few other units have equaled.
