During a three-day battle near the island of Midway, U.S. forces dealt a crippling blow to the Japanese fleet, sinking four aircraft carriers and allowing the U.S. Navy to gain the strategic advantage. I actually bought this map at the Gift shop in the Pearl Harbour museum. We carried it separately as we went through Airport security on our way back home. I think it got caught as it went thru the security belt but anyway, we realized on the plane that we didn't have it. When we landed in Las Vegas - the 1st leg of our trip back, I ordered it on my mobile from the Airport and we received it in mint condition via mail a few days later. I would buy 3D maps of Maui (we were there 12 years ago) and any other island I can find, in a heartbeat - the map is that good!
Arrived fast and in PERFECT condition. It's an awesome mug for my morning coffee!

This flag was a gift for my husband for Fathers Day from our family. We had it flown on his birthday. He is US Navy, Ret and was very moved by this gift!
We now hope to plan a trip to the Pearl Harbor Memorial Site!
A fantastic interpretation and retelling of the men who left home and family to fight for freedoms still denied them, and who proved their loyalty to a country they loved through valor and sacrifice few other units have equaled.
