This brooch is a replica of one of many "Remember Pearl Harbor" items created during the war years. The phrase served as a motivational tool to encourage volunteerism, purchases of war bonds, and to remind people to support those in the military making the ultimate sacrifice in the war effort.
The time to get this item here was excessive. When I asked customer service they just said it was on the way.
When it finally arrived these replica pins were dark as though tarnished.The're not real silver so it's not tarnish
they are just damaged. I had bought these a few times before and they were bright silver colored as shown in
the picture. I cannot give these as gifts to my friends and it's to troublesome and costly to return. Will not buy
again from Pacific Historic Parks.

This book is wonderful! Full of so much information. Amazing stories! I can't imagine having lived through this. Every time we visit Oahu we make sure to visit Pearl Harbor. In October 2024 the park ranger told the story of the bugler and the fighter pilot before we went out to get on the boat to the memorial. Always save room in your heart for grace! Thank you for making these books available when we get back home and wish we were still in Hawaii!
I ordered two Pearl Harbor Day flags, one for my cousin in VA Beach and one for my brother in FL. Both retired from the military. I made sure to input and give the correct addresses to Diamond (who was working the table outside of the shop at the memorial). She was having trouble putting in the information, so I helped. Looked and verified both shipping addresses. I also made sure to ask if the flags came in the glass case that it was displayed in. She said yes. I asked twice to make sure and she repeated her answer of yes. My cousin in VA Beach received his without the case. My brother in FL's was sent to me here on island for some reason. Also, without a case. It was supposed to be his birthday and Christmas present. Obviously, that did not happen and now I find myself having to pay more money to resend what I already paid to be sent to Florida. Needless to say, not necessarily happy about the money spent on this purchase with these issues.
Originally bought this flag to fly outside. Once it arrived, my wife was so impressed with the flag and certificate that she wants to display them inside. Very pleased!
