Black Tears...so appropriate.
Oil drops rising from the fuel tanks of the sunken Arizona are called this. The term originated in 1942, coined by Pearl Harbor stationed sailors. Today, 79 years after the Day of Infamy, the tears still rise. Anyone who has visited the Arizona Memorial has seen and no doubt photographed them. These print are beautiful images of such a sad thing, yet also give the viewer a sense of hope as we connect with history. The photographer who originated this item is deserving our support and praise. Absolutely beautiful, poignant, and inspirational.

While visiting Pearl Harbor in 2025 I made various purchases at the gift shop but didn't see this item there (it was on my 'to buy' list). While recently purchasing some items off the online site I decided to get it. A very cool item I'll add to the rest of my Pearl Harbor memorabilia.
I visited Pearl Harbor in 2025 and made a bunch of purchases at the gift shop but didn't see this item. While recently ordering some items off the online site I came across this and thought it was pretty cool. And it is! Good quality and great to look at.It's now the main bookmark for my reading material.
While visiting Pearl Harbor in April of 2025 I purchased some items including this bookmark at the gift shop. While recently ordering som other items online I decided to snatch up a couple more. A great and cool souvenir memorial item. You can never have too many bookmarks!
I visited Oahu in April 2025 and spent a lot of time at Pearl Harbor. I picked up a bunch of items including t-shirts at the gift shop but didn't see this one. I recently visited the online site and saw it and knew I had to have it. Made of the same durable quality as the other shirts I purchased and very cool looking. A great addition to my collection.
I ordered a flag to be flown at the USS Arizona for my son 50th birthday when i became the senior on 04-25-1976 and to remember the sailors who perish when the ship went down in the harbor god bless all that perish on that day.
A high-quality shirt that fits well. It features an embroideeed name and logo and the fabric looks like it will hold its shape and color for a long time.
I read Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes to my fifth graders every year. I can never finish without tears. These little cranes are a reminder that children are the true victims of war. And children are our hope to end these wars.
