In the fall of 1980, the National Park Service took on the day-to-day operations of the USS Arizona Memorial and Visitor Center. With that event, the first superintendent wanted to know just what still remained of the once impressive warship now resting below the gently arching memorial. With a cohesive team of Park Service and Navy divers pitching in, that question has been answered.
Would never purchase this again. It's very small, came tarnished....not worth it. The gift store use to have the large silver Remember Pearl Harbor pin, but this is not worth the money.
Would send it back but would cost so much to ship....If I had seen this in the gift shop, I would not give it a second look. Very dissapointing.....
Extremely easy to do, people were very friendly over the phone. Website was very easy to use. Was able to input the name of the service member retiring. I was able to choose the date. It was flown and also had a ship directly. Certificate of authenticity and date flown was Beautifully done.
