The IJN was a pioneer in naval aviation, having commissioned the world's first carrier, which was used against the US fleet at Pearl Harbor. The Americans followed suit, initiating a huge aircraft carrier development program. As the War in the Pacific escalated into the largest naval conflict in history, the role of the carrier became the linchpin of American and Japanese naval strategy as these rival vessels found themselves locked in a struggle for dominance of this critical theater.
This book provides an analysis of the variety of weaponry available to the rival carriers, in particular the embarked aircraft as well as the powerful ship-borne guns. I am really pleased with my flag in honor of my brother. The only thing was that they didn’t put he was in the U.S.M.C. Other than that I greatly appreciate what they do. Been neat to have a pic of it.

The shirt is great. My only complaint is it doesn't come in another color. I'm not a big fan of dark blue. It is a great way to honor our country and not forget the past.
got this Medallion in a set of items including the Diamond Head Certificate, Diamond Head Medallion and the Diamond Head Bench Marking pin. We did both during our last visit and loved the experience.
I’m playing catch up with just now getting the walking stick medallions of the places I’ve been in the last 3 years. I purchased this set with the Arizona and Diamond Head medallion along with the Diamond Head Cert and the Bench Mark pin for a good price and I’m really happy with all items.
a nice piece to add to our travels collection my wife and I simply put both of our names onto the cert with the date we climbed in the circle. Printed very nicely and I purchase a nice certificate frame for it.
