This battle, which pitted four Japanese carriers against three US carriers, ended in one action Japan’s dream of controlling the Pacific and handed the naval initiative to the US Navy under the command of Admiral Chester Nimitz. I first purchased this item when I went to Pearl Harbor in 2025 and it became my favorite mug. I used it almost daily for my morning coffee. Then it got broken so i had to order a new one. Hope it stays around longer.
